VP of Finance

Location: Irvine, CA

Company Overview:

Our client is a rapidly scaling company in the food manufacturing space. Due to their growth they are looking for a VP of Finance to oversee all aspects of accounting and finance, M&A, and process development.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement robust financial processes and controls to support our growth.
  • Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to drive business decisions.
  • Lead the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage cash flow, investments, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities to support our expansion plans.
  • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive profitability and achieve strategic goals.

Qualifications:
  • Active CPA preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, ideally in the food industry or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading financial operations and driving growth in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
