Job Description


Controller opportunity - VC backed large-scale data management company

Are you a seasoned accounting professional ready for a challenge in the dynamic cloud storage industry? Our client, a VC-backed leader in the data space, is seeking a Controller to join our Irvine-based team.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage the General Ledger and lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP.
  • Optimize accounting processes within NetSuite.
  • Handle revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting in accordance with ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards for complex, multi-element arrangements.

What You'll Bring:
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong US GAAP knowledge and NetSuite proficiency.
  • Proven ability to manage GL and close processes.
  • Oversight of revenue and billing
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
