Senior Accountant
Location: On-site | Southern California
Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 + full benefits

A well-established, nationally operating company in the print and marketing communications space is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their corporate finance team. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, this role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional looking to contribute in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

  • Prepare and manage monthly accruals, adjustments, and intercompany journal entries.

  • Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies.

  • Maintain prepaid and fixed asset schedules, including associated amortization and depreciation.

  • Lead and support AP and AR operations, ensuring efficient processes and issue resolution.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and operations to resolve accounting-related issues.

  • Assist in the development and enforcement of internal accounting policies and GAAP compliance.

  • Prepare audit schedules and support external audit processes.

  • Perform additional accounting tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity environment.

  • Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.

  • Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, etc.).

  • Experience with QuickBooks and ERP systems; ERP transition experience is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate a production environment.

  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for quality checks and file handling.

  • Must be comfortable with occasional exposure to printing materials and production equipment.
