Job Description


Alliance Resource Group is recruiting for our client, a medical device manufacturer, for their next Corporate Accountant. This person will be the right hand to the Corporate Controller and will be responsible for critical ad-hoc projects for the organization. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoicing, sales tax filings, and handle deferred revenue

  • Utilize complex Excel worksheets to manage manual accounting processes

  • Perform AP-related tasks as required

  • Assist the AR team on invoicing and client follow up

  • Maintain financial records and assist with month-end closing

  • Collaborate with the Corporate Controller to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

  • Assist with other accounting duties as needed, contributing to a lean and efficient team

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Enterprise

  • Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and data manipulation

  • Mac OS experience and familiarity with Office 365

  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices

  • Ability to manage sales tax filings and handle deferred revenue

  • High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a willingness to adapt

  • Flexible and adaptable – able to switch between tasks and priorities with ease

  • Laid-back personality but highly efficient and able to take direction well

  • A self-starter with the ability to make the Corporate Controller’s life easier

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Willing to learn and contribute across different accounting functions

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid role 3 days onsite in South OC (Dana Point, SJC, San Clemente area)

  • Small, close-knit team where you’ll have a meaningful impact on day-to-day operations

  • Compensation up to $90,000 depending on experience and qualifications
