Location: Paramount, CA (Onsite, Monday through Friday)

We are a fast-paced, well-established construction company based in Paramount, CA, seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys both accounting and light technical support. You’ll be a key player in keeping our financials accurate and our office technology running smoothly.
What You’ll Do Accounting Responsibilities (70%)

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations

  • Manage and maintain the Fixed Asset Rollforward schedule

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures

  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries

  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies

  • Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation

  • Handle ad hoc accounting and reporting tasks as needed
IT Support Responsibilities (30%)

  • Serve as the go-to person for basic internal IT troubleshooting

  • Resolve common hardware/software issues (e.g., monitor not turning on, printer not responding, system running slow)

  • Manage IT help desk tickets and ensure timely resolution

  • Coordinate with third-party IT providers for more complex issues
What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced or project-driven environment

  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles and reconciliations

  • Proficient with Excel; experience with ERP systems a plus

  • Comfortable with basic technical troubleshooting and willing to support team members

  • Highly organized, dependable, and proactive in problem-solving

  • Clear and effective communicator
