Job Description

Position Overview
The firm is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its growing finance and client services team.

In this role, you will oversee accounting operations for a diverse portfolio of clients, managing both traditional and complex accounting activities. You will play a hands-on role in driving accurate financial reporting, improving processes, and ensuring compliance while partnering closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records across multiple client engagements.

  • Review and manage month-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

  • Supervise and support accounting staff, providing guidance, review, and development.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver financial insights, reporting, and client support.

  • Manage outsourced accounting relationships, including vendor coordination and performance oversight.

  • Review and approve financial statements, management reports, and presentations.

  • Coordinate with external CPAs on tax filings, audits, and compliance-related matters.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.

  • Lead initiatives to enhance accounting systems, workflows, and internal controls.

  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.

  • Stay current on accounting standards, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • CPA designation preferred.

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, including time in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

  • Experience supporting multiple clients or operating in an outsourced accounting environment is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Proven leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Compensation Range:
Competitive base salary plus a meaningful equity/options component. Compensation is based on experience, skill set, and geographic location. Actual pay may vary.
