Job Description

Senior Account Manager  
Los Angeles - Hybrid 


Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Client Accounting Services
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, in coordination with senior staff.
    • Onboard new clients, oversee set up financial reporting processes and chart of accounts, establish client vendor and household relationships
    • Oversee core accounting services: journal entries, payroll oversight, investment reporting, and reconciliation of client data for ultra-high-net-worth families and related entities
    • Ensure issues or discrepancies are resolved with clients’ statements
    • Review client financial reports and analysis for individuals and related entities
    • Monitor and coordinate cash management
    • Oversee year-end reporting of 1099s
    • Oversee tracking of charitable contributions, gifts, basis, and other items

Client Bill Payment Services
    • Review and approve client bill pay processing

Client Relationship Management 
    • Primary day-to-day contact for client communications, project management, problem identification and resolution across multiple simultaneous client relationships 
    • Develop client meeting material and lead meetings, as needed 
    • Respond to inquiries from clients’ advisors (wealth, CPAs, attorneys, etc) 
    • Provide financial data analysis related to client tax, estate, and charitable planning 
    • Handle special projects as needed 

Management
    • Day-to-day management/oversight of client team 
    • Train new employees on policies and procedures 
    • Oversight and accountability for team output 

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a business management or a family office setting
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail and possess a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments to meet deadlines
  • Experience with AgilLink is highly preferred.
  • CPA certification or candidate preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP
