WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Assist with development of internal audit functions, including interaction with third-party service providers and cross-department teams
  • Participate in our annual external audit by providing requested documents to ensure timely completion of audited consolidated financial statements
  • Perform technical research on complex accounting issues, including new lease and revenue recognition standards
  • Prepare accounting memos on an as-needed basis
  • Perform a variety of functions associated with our month-end close, including preparation of journal entries, completion of account reconciliations, maintenance of subsidiary ledgers, and analysis of account activity
  • Prepare quarterly estimates of complex areas, including accruals
  • Be responsible for identification and implementation of process improvements, standardizing and streamlining procedures, and creating written desk procedures
  • Perform intercompany eliminations and consolidation
  • Review unusual and complex contracts and apply generally accepted accounting principles
  • Coordinate functions associated with the preparation of income and sales tax filings by a third-party consultant
  • Participate in and/or lead various finance and accounting special projects

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor’ s degree in accounting with at least ten  years of experience in accounting
  • Must have clear and thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Ability to research and reach well-reasoned conclusions on technical accounting issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with little to no supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable self-starter with strong relationship-building skills
  • Must have a passion for your work and an ability to apply that passion to both daily tasks and larger projects
  • Collaborative and team-oriented attitude

ABOVE AND BEYOND
  • CPA with auditing experience
  • Big 4 experience is a plus
  • Experience with multi-element and software revenue recognition
  • Experience with Netsuite Oneworld
