Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support business growth and profitability.
- Coordinate and manage year-end close processes, including audits and tax filings.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and drive operational efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support for professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and develop a team.
