Job Description

Alliance Resource Group is committed to delivering talented, qualified individuals for our clients’ specific needs. Our client is a successful Real Estate firm that owns and manages Class A retail centers with major anchor tenants in the Western US. This role will report to the VP of Accounting and be responsible for all corporate and property level payables in AvidXchange and reconciliations in MRI software. We are looking for someone who is organized and highly analytical. There is room for growth withing the accounting department and the company has an excellent, less formal culture.
This role has excellent work/life balance and a hybrid schedule in Irvine (by SNA airport)
This position is not the average data entry Accounts Payable (AP) position. It requires extensive attention to detail, upper-level thinking, and is high volume with strict deadlines.
Responsibilities:

Review processing by AvidXchange and support all “exception” invoices for processing
Review entry of invoices with proper GL and job coding (including credit card receipts)
Proactively resolve invoice discrepancies to facilitate vendor payment
Understanding of internal signature/approval levels
Reconcile ACH activity to the general ledger monthly
Filling of all associated Accounts Payable (AP) documents
Maintain Accounts Payable (AP) vendor files
Request, verify, and track vendor insurance
Communicate effectively with employees and vendors

Requirements:

Minimum four years of full cycle AP experience
Exceptionally quick learner
Knowledge of AvidXchange and/or MRI a huge +
Amazing attention to detail
Positive team player
Productive when working independently and as a team member
BA or BS in Accounting is preferred, but not required
