Job Description


Alliance Resource Group has partnered with a very successful $80M manufacturer and is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead all accounting matters.

The Job:

As the Assistant Controller, you will be a strategic partner to leadership. Working under the Controller, this role will prepare financial statements, oversee a small team, and support operations.

 

Additional responsibilities
  • Facilitate the month-end close process.
  • Completely monthly account reconciliations.
  • Provide accurate reporting for management.
  • Support the audit process.
  • Implement new processes and procedures.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting.

 

Preferred background
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Engineering with a Business minor preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office and any variety of ERP systems.
