Job Description
Responsibilities Include:
- Supervising and developing accounting staff
- Conducting month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Preparing monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Assisting in developing annual budgets and forecasts
- Reviewing and managing royalty licensing agreements for accuracy
- Maintaining software systems for royalty tracking and reporting
- Generating invoices for royalties and ensuring timely payments
- Collaborating with sales teams on sales forecasts and invoicing processes
- Handling ad hoc reports and special projects as needed
- Performing other assigned duties
Experience & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of accounting/financial analysis experience in retail or eCommerce
- Background in royalties/licensing is preferred
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability
- Results-oriented with high integrity
- Skilled in building relationships and effective communication
- Familiarity with NetSuite and licensing software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel for data manipulation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities, including prioritization skills
- Capable of working with remote supervision
