Controller - Nonprofit
Alliance Resource Group is partnering with a well known nonprofit/family office that is dedicated to bettering the Los Angeles and surrounding areas through programs in education, science and the arts. This Foundation is looking to a newly created Controller position to their team.
Responsibilities
- Monitors the day-to-day financial function and performance for nonprofit entities including responsibility for all aspects of accounting (accounts payable, investment accounting, general ledger review, bank reconciliation review and corporate credit cards)
- Coordinate and lead annual audit.
- Responsible and/or provide support for monthly and quarterly reporting including budgeting, cash reports and other highly customized management reports
- Support family office treasury, accounting, budgeting, intracompany allocations and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
- Private foundation tax and GAAP knowledge
- CPA licensed required
- Non Profit GAAP knowledge
- 7+ years of combined public accounting and private/public company experience
