Our client is a highly successful entrepreneurial company that is currently looking to take the organization to the next level. The organization plans to quadruple in size in the next three to five years and is building a management team to help manage that growth.
Company is highly profitable and boasts a very consistent cash flow.
We have partnered with them to identify a talented EVP, Finance and Administration to lead all Accounting, Corporate Finance, IT, Human Resources and all Administration for the company.
ROLE, RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
The EVP, Finance and Administration will report directly to the CEO. He/she will oversee the financial and administrative functions of the company, which will include, but not be strictly limited to: finance, accounting, control, tax, reporting, IT, administration, legal and human resources.
Prospective candidates for the role will possess no less than 15 years of relevant financial and administrative management experience in roles of increasing scope and scale, sophistication and responsibility with one or more enterprises respected for their integrity, performance, innovation, and creativity, as well as the quality and rigor of their financial management, people and systems.
A strong foundational experience in either corporate, institutional, Big Four and/or service sector environments in senior financial roles will be highly valued.
Current or previous leadership experience in a private company, or meaningful experience with a service provider serving private/family enterprises, would be advantageous, although it is not required for consideration.
International experience, whether direct or indirect, would be highly advantageous.
Prospective candidates must be collegial, collaborative and entrepreneurial.
They must be clearly capable of working at the current scale of the organization, as well as being capable of playing a leading role to grow and scale the enterprise at appropriate levels of profitability.
Exceptional interpersonal and oral/written communication skills are mandatory for consideration
Prospective candidates will possess an undergraduate degree from an educational institution respected for its academic and intellectual rigor, as well as the quality and subsequent performance of their graduates.
A post-graduate degree and/or equivalent professional designation (CPA, CMA or CFA), will be valued, although neither are required for consideration.
