Job Description


We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Asset Management Analyst to join our growing team. This role will focus on supporting the strategic and financial management of a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate assets, including office, retail, and industrial properties. The Senior Analyst will provide critical financial analysis, reporting, and market insights to help drive asset value, optimize operations, and support senior leadership in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis & Modeling: Build and maintain detailed property-level and portfolio financial models (Excel, Argus, etc.) to evaluate performance, leasing activity, capital expenditures, refinancing, and disposition scenarios.

  • Asset Performance Tracking: Analyze monthly/quarterly operating results, variances, and cash flows. Identify risks and opportunities to maximize value.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting process and update rolling forecasts for commercial properties.

  • Leasing & Operations Support: Partner with asset managers and property management teams to analyze lease terms, tenant improvements, rent roll changes, and renewal scenarios.

  • Capital Planning: Assist in evaluating and monitoring capital expenditure and redevelopment projects to ensure alignment with asset strategies and return thresholds.

  • Market Research: Conduct market studies and benchmarking on rents, vacancy, absorption, and comparable properties to support leasing and investment decisions.

  • Investor & Lender Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal leadership, external investors, and lenders.

  • Acquisition & Disposition Support: Perform due diligence, underwriting, and financial analysis for potential acquisitions, sales, or refinancing opportunities.

  • Process Improvement: Enhance financial reporting tools, dashboards, and processes to improve portfolio transparency and decision-making.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).

  • 3–6 years of experience in real estate finance, asset management, or investment analysis, with a focus on commercial properties.

  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills; strong proficiency in Excel and Argus Enterprise.

  • Knowledge of commercial property operations, lease structures, and capital projects.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior leadership and investors.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
