Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
Job Overview: We are seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our consumer products company. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial plans and analysis that will assist in decision-making processes within the company. The candidate will work with a team of financial analysts and will report to the Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead the development, monitoring and analysis of annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans for the company and its departments • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support key decision-making processes for senior management • Identify key trends and drivers of business performance to provide insights and recommendations to the management team • Develop financial models to evaluate new business opportunities and support strategic initiatives • Work with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial and operational plans • Support special projects and ad hoc analyses as required • Lead and manage a team of financial analysts
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred • 5+ years of relevant financial planning and analysis experience in a consumer products company or related industry • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of financial analysts • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills • Ability to develop financial analysis and reports to support senior management decision making • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams • Strong knowledge of financial reporting systems and software, such as ERP systems and Excel
