Position: Manager, Financial Reporting
Client Summary:

Position Summary:
The Manager of Financial Reporting plays an integral part of our client’s broader accounting and finance team by consolidating more than 40 entities across their network. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Manager of Financial Reporting oversees the production of quarterly reports, annual filings, ad-hoc analyses, and audit-readiness initiatives.

Position Summary:
The Manager of Financial Reporting plays an integral part of our client’s broader accounting and finance team by consolidating more than 40 entities across their network. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Manager of Financial Reporting oversees the production of quarterly reports, annual filings, ad-hoc analyses, and audit-readiness initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Guide timely month-end close procedures and subsequent consolidation for 40+ healthcare entities
- Contribute to quarterly and annual financial reports, including preparation of the financial statements and all related footnotes & addendums
- Prepare PBCs, schedules, and all other requests for information as part of the annual audit process, and for any internal audits as needed
- Prepare any technical accounting research pending new pronouncements or regulations, and assist with drafting of applicable accounting/departmental memos
- Develop and maintain excellent working knowledge of Planful and any other departmental tools used to prepare, consolidate, and publish financial statements or other financial information
- Support ad-hoc projects and reporting as needed
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with a concentration in the following
- 3-5+ years of GAAP experience, either in public accounting or public accounting + private industry
- Experience consolidating the financial statements for multiple entities, including entities with varied reporting structures/requirements
- Experience preparing financial statement packages and/or SEC filings
- Not-for-profit and/or healthcare experience preferred (ex. experience with form 990 compliance)
- High degree of financial statement literacy, discretion, and confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation skills
