Job Summary: As the Interim Accounting Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health and stability of our company. You'll be an integral part of our close-knit team, responsible for managing all accounting activities, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Audit Preparation: Coordinate and lead audits, liaising with external auditors.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a cohesive and productive team environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven experience (X years) in accounting, preferably within the service industry
- Proficiency in WinTeam or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
