About Our Client: Our esteemed client, a large manufacturing company, is in need of an Interim Controller to cover a maternity leave from mid-October to March/April. This is a critical role that requires expertise in the manufacturing sector and the ability to work independently. While the current Controller, will be available for high-level guidance, this role offers a unique opportunity for a resourceful and self-starting financial professional to provide essential leadership.
Job Description: Alliance Resource Group, is seeking an experienced Interim Controller on behalf of our client. In this contract role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring financial stability and efficiency for the duration of the contract. Since there's no CFO in place, this position offers substantial autonomy in managing financial functions.
Responsibilities:

Working Capital Presentation: Prepare and present regular reports on the company's working capital status, offering insights for strategic decisions.

Payments Review: Oversee and review payment processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and identifying cost optimization opportunities.

Reconciliation Review: Conduct meticulous reconciliations of financial records, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, to maintain data accuracy.

Budget Review: Collaborate with the client's finance team to review and manage the budget, providing input for financial planning and forecasting.

March 10th Audit Deadline: Lead the preparation and coordination of financial data and documents for the annual audit, ensuring compliance with deadlines and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Interim Controller, particularly within the manufacturing sector.
- A solid grasp of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision.
