Job Overview:
The Accounting Manager will oversee and manage accounting operations for our international business units. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support our global business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for international operations, adhering to local accounting standards, GAAP, and IFRS.
- Monitor compliance with international tax regulations and other statutory reporting requirements.
- Oversee and reconcile intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with transfer pricing policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve intercompany discrepancies and issues.
- Implement and enhance financial processes and internal controls to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across international operations.
- Continuously assess and improve accounting systems and tools to streamline operations and reporting.
- Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and training to develop their skills and capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the international accounting team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Substantial experience in accounting and finance roles, with a significant focus on international operations and accounting standards.
- Thorough understanding of international tax laws, transfer pricing, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in international accounting software and ERP systems.
- Experience in public accounting within an external audit focused responsibility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across cultures and with remote teams.
- Strong Excel skills
