Payroll Analyst (Contract)
Onsite to Hybrid | High-Volume | Growth-Driven Team

A growing organization in acquisition mode is adding a Contract Payroll Analyst to support increased payroll volume and operational demands. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-output environments and enjoys being close to the day-to-day execution of payroll.

The position will begin onsite and is expected to move hybrid after onboarding and stabilization.

  • Increased payroll processing volume

  • Need for experienced support to maintain accuracy and deadlines
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Process bi-weekly, in-house payroll for a large U.S. employee population

  • Handle payroll transactions including new hires, terminations, equity, benefits, and adjustments

  • Prepare payroll journal entries and account reconciliations

  • Support year-end filings (W-2, W-2C) and audits

  • Perform UAT testing for payroll system changes

  • Partner with HR, IT, Benefits, Stock, and Accounting teams

  • Serve as a payroll resource for employee inquiries
What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of payroll experience in large, multi-state environments (2,500+ employees)

  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance and controls

  • International payroll experience preferred

  • SAP exposure a plus

  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable with volume

  • Open to starting onsite and transitioning to hybrid
