Major Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for analyzing pricing opportunities and maximizing customer profitability
  • Work directly with Inside and Outside sales teams to produce customer price quotations and provide analysis that supports strategic initiatives
  • Ability to perform detailed analysis, draw conclusions, and communicate findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner
  • Provide fact-based insights and influence others to achieve results through development and execution of standard pricing processes and procedures
  • Maximize margin opportunities through communicating impact of pricing decisions and sales mix changes in periodic reporting
  • Provide insightful analysis of business trends and offer creative, scientific approach to forecasting future results
  • Develop presentations for executive management leveraging analysis to support business insights/conclusions
  • Out of the box thinker and flexible team player, with passion, positive energy and enthusiasm to drive results
  • Capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously with minimal direction, continual change, while meeting project deadlines
  • Ability to plan, organize and multi-task in fast paced work environment
  • Ability to work across functional areas to build relationships and drive projects through to completion
  • Work with respective Product Managers to develop the strategic direction of pricing for each of the major product categories.
  • Manage 3 pricing analysts to achieve departmental objectives.

Work Environment
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.  On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area.  Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be eighteen years of age and possess a HS Diploma or GED
  • Must pass the Drug Test and Background Check
  • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’ s Degree with an emphasis in Finance, Economics or similar preferred
  • 5+ years related work experience
  • Demonstrated leadership with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills; ability to communicate at all levels
  • Working knowledge of cost/price relationships
