Job Description

Our world leading technology client  is seeking a Revenue Manager to join our Irvine, CA Finance Team. In this role, you’ ll focus on the following:

 
  • Manage and lead the internal process, perform analysis, provide insight and develop communications for Sales and Marketing budget inputs, including:
    • Monthly Demand Assessment for revenue and gross margin planning
    • Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for Sales and Marketing Business Units
    • Roadmap investment planning (ROI)
  • Coordinate and facilitate monthly revenue forecasting process with Sales and Marketing organizations
  • Identify and escalate risks and upsides to forecast inputs based on underlying market dynamics, bookings trends, and identifying inconsistencies between Sales and Marketing inputs
  • Develop presentations to inform senior management and the Board of Directors of the company’ s revenue and gross margin trends
  • Work with Investor Relations on investor and external financial communications
  • Consolidate and organize daily bookings information and cultivate reporting systems to disseminate relevant bookings data to senior management
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial reporting systems
  • Develop, maintain and monitor the budgets for the sales and marketing departments and provide financial analysis to support any decision-making that the departments require, primarily related to channel management (commissions), conferences, trade shows and travel
  • Track changes to standard cost inputs with Operations and communicate cost trends with Marketing
  • Support monthly supply planning between Sales, Marketing, and Operations
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis for senior management
  • Support M&A analysis, planning and integration

Required Skills
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support and derive relevant information from sales operations and accounting, as well as drive conversations at levels throughout the organization including C suite
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with business and financial acumen
  • Excellent team player capable of earning the confidence of peers and executives
  • Solid organizational and planning skills, bright, with a strong work ethic
  • Flexible, “ special-projects” orientation coupled with the ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Experience with implementation and use of financial systems strongly desired; experience with Adaptive Planning, Microsoft Dynamics AX, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred
  • Technology industry experience preferred
  • Flexible to work from our Carlsbad, CA location on occasion
  • Bachelor’ s Degree and 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance
