Job Description
ARG is partnered with a $400M PE-backed med-tech company rapidly gaining market share (annual growth 25-30% YoY) and just getting warmed up! This role will be given ample opportunity to be promoted into an Accounting Manager within the next 12-18 months.
Located in Laguna Hills, this role will be hybrid 3/2 (office/remote) with some flexibility. This company has an amazing leadership team and company culture with a true work/life balance!

Position Overview:
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including inter-company transactions for both non-profit and for-profit entities
- Assume responsibility for corporate for-profit entities to include monthly financial statement preparation and journal entries, owners’ distributions, partner communications and receivable collections
- Assist departments with budgetary issues and provide explanations to budget variances in a complete and accurate manner
- Independently analyze complex transactions and provide recommendations for accounting treatment and processes
- Explain key analytical findings through clear written and oral communications
- Assist with the coordination and support of various audits and special projects as may be assigned
- Participate in various corporate cross-functional teams
- Evaluate and improve accounting systems and processes
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting, Finance, Business/Business Administration
- CPA or CMA License
- Four (4) years of experience in general accounting or external audit
- Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Strong MS Excel skills, BI tools experience, and passionate about process automation & efficiencies
- CPA, CFE, MBA, or equivalent - nice to have.
