Job Description


Our client, a premier real estate owner, developer and manager of high-quality properties has a need for Senior Accountant.

The role involves managing accounting, tax, and treasury functions for real estate projects and related entities, both in consolidated structures and investment partnerships.
  • Oversee books and records for real estate investments, including tax-related tasks (e.g., depreciation, cost allocation, tax return coordination).
  • Perform monthly closings, prepare financial statements, and generate management reports.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, P&L variance analyses, and assist with reporting packages for investors.
  • Manage project cash flow forecasts, capital plans, and job cost forecasting for real estate developments.
  • Assist in year-end audit, tax return preparation, and quarterly REIT compliance.
  • Collaborate with property services and senior management on various financial matters.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years in public accounting or real estate accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Yardi preferred), Excel, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
  • Accounting degree required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
