The Senior Accountant will be responsible for producing timely financial statements for internal and external use. This role works closely with the team and performs research for technical accounting issues to provide accounting guidance on how to record transactions appropriately. The Senior Accountant collaborates with all levels of corporate and operational employees, investors, customers and vendors to assist with the financial communication. There are lots of opportunities to work on special projects within finance, accounting and other departments as well!

Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant includes the following:
  • Provide accounting support to assigned locations including monthly account reconciliations, accruals, analysis and response to financial inquiries
  • Analyze contracts for proper accounting under ASC 606 and work closely with management to communicate accounting interpretations
  • Prepare presentations for management as needed
  • Monitor account balances and provide aging reports to sales teams to assist with collections
  • Monitor and correct intercompany discrepancies throughout the accounting period
  • Support quarterly and annual audits, including schedule preparation and fulfilling sample selection requests
  • Work with the accounting team to implement process and control improvements

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant position:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting required
  • CPA or CPA candidate highly preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of experience preferably in public accounting or retail, restaurant and/or entertainment industry
  • In-depth understanding of GAAP and the ability to research and apply technical accounting issues to recording financial results
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with leadership potential
  • In-depth knowledge of financial data requirements in order to implement new programs and maintain the proper levels of controls
  • Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple simultaneous projects
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and projects
