Senior Accounting Analyst (FA)

Job Description
As a key member of our accounting team, you will:
- Prepare and record journal entries and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reports.
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations and perform detailed flux analyses as part of our overall analytical review (OAR) process.
- Develop, implement, and document policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize and streamline financial operations.
- Drive process improvement initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Compile and present monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, forecasts, and detailed analytical commentary for leadership review.
- Analyze variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, providing clear and actionable insights into the underlying causes.
- Support compliance efforts, including SOX control testing and strict adherence to GAAP standards.
- Manage high transaction volumes, ensuring proper coding, reconciliations, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a key liaison between the finance department and operational teams, addressing inquiries related to payroll, accounts payable, contracts, and revenue reimbursement.
- Present financial analyses, policies, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc assignments aimed at supporting organizational goals and initiatives.
- Improve reporting processes and leverage automation tools to enhance financial operations and data accuracy.

- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- At least 4+ years of professional experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- A strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with an eagerness to explore and implement new technologies.
