Build deeper expertise in complex real estate and partnership tax work without giving up every weekend.

A growing San Diego boutique CPA firm is adding a Senior Tax Associate to support its expanding tax practice. You will work directly with experienced tax leaders, take ownership of meaningful client work, and build toward a future Manager role.
What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and perform first-level review of partnership, S-corporation, and individual tax returns
  • Generate Schedule K-1s and assist with partner basis and capital account tracking
  • Support depreciation schedules, fixed-asset roll-forwards, and cost-segregation work
  • Research tax issues and draft clear technical memos
  • Communicate directly with clients to request information, resolve questions, and explain variances
  • Review work prepared by junior staff and help develop less-experienced team members
What They’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years of public-accounting tax experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with partnership returns and Schedule K-1s
  • CPA or actively working toward the CPA
  • Exposure to real estate, construction, closely held businesses, or high-net-worth clients
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a growing firm where you can help improve processes
