Alliance Resource Group has exclusively partnered with a boutique tax and wealth management firm in South OC that is looking to hire a senior tax manager. Ideally, this senior tax manager will be one of the firm's next partners.Â
If you are an experienced tax professional with a strong work ethic that is looking to lead a growing, profitable CPA practice, then you may be right for this position.
Job Description ("What You’ll Do")
- Facilitate and manage the preparation and review of Individual and Business Tax Returns
- Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections
- Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the tax returns and other tax filings/documents
- Prepare complex tax returns and identify tax planning opportunities
- Complete continuing education courses and stay up to date on tax law
- Collaborate and coordinate with wealth management team to maximize value-add services
Qualifications ("What You’ll Bring")
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Masters in taxation, a plus not a necessity
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in tax work and accounting software experience
- Working knowledge of Lacerte and QuickBooks (helpful, but not required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service skills
- Must be well-organized, accurate, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines

Chloe is a former Big 4 CPA with a Bachelor's and Master's of Accountancy degrees from the University of San Diego. Chloe was born and raised right here in in Orange County. Prior to joining Alliance Resource Group, she was an Experienced Hire Recruiter for a large regional Public Accounting firm in Irvine.
As a huge animal advocate, Chloe volunteers her time to rescue dog organizations. She lives by the mantra "Adopt, Don't Shop" and encourages everyone to do the same.
A perfect day for Chloe would find her, her husband Stephen and their dog Kona taking a walk at the beach during the day, followed by a home cooked meal paired with some nice wine.
