Job Description

Title: Family Office Associate 

Our client is looking to add a family office staff accountant to their team. 


This role assists the Family Office department by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Recording transactions (e.g., cash receipts, cash disbursements, and investments activity)
  • Researching AP and AR discrepancies, corresponding findings, and resolving issues
  • Maintaining general ledgers
  • Reconciling general ledger to bank/investment accounts
  • Preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other Comprehensive Bases of Accounting
  • Preparing cash flow projections and forecasts
  • Assisting with processing and running 1099’s for all entities

Education / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • A minimum of two years prior accounting experience.
  • Yardi or Sumit experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, with an emphasis in Excel and other reasonable software applicable to position and organizational needs. 
  • Foundation of technical accounting principles
