Staff Accountant
Job Description
This position is a Staff Accountant which will be groomed to become Senior Accountant within 12 months of joining. This role will also have ample training and mentorship from a world-class leadership team, each of whom spent time in this exact role at one point in their career.
Responsibilities:
- This person will handle accounting for roughly 8-12 commercial properties, handling journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, cash management, and work closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager.
Compensation:
$85,000 - 90,000 base + 10% Bonus target

The culture consists of like-minded, dynamic, smart, and intellectually curious individuals who enjoy collaborating and learning from one another. The accounting team has consistently been promoted every 1.5 years and this position should be promoted to Senior within 12 months of joining.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- 0.5 - 2 years' experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Nice to have (but not required): experience in property or corporate accounting for real estate and/or Yardi software experience.
