Job Description


SUMMARY

Alliance Resource Group is Partnered with a global company who is seeking a Staff Accountant to support monthly close activities for the international division. This role works closely with the Senior Accountant on reconciliations, reporting, and compliance across multiple entities. It is a strong fit for someone who wants hands-on exposure to international accounting in a collaborative finance team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the monthly close process for assigned international entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger tie-outs
  • Prepare and maintain bank, prepaid, accrued compensation, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Process asset additions and property rollforwards for assigned divisions
  • Analyze financial statement transactions and provide recommendations that support business decisions
  • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party contacts on items impacting accounting and reporting, including tax changes, audits, and forecast requirements
  • Assist with audit preparation, PBC list management, and tax filing support
  • Help develop and improve reporting processes and procedures on a proactive basis

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or auditing
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial accounting standards
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively across management levels, disciplines, and international teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
