Senior Tax Accountant – Single Family Office
New York City | $200K–$250K+ base | Hybrid: 3 days in office (T–Th)

A sophisticated New York–based single family office is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to work closely with the Tax Director and CFO. This is a high-visibility, career-building role supporting a multi-generational family with complex entity structures.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
  • Coordinate with external tax consultants and other advisors to manage filings, audits, and tax notices.
  • Oversee tax projections, payments, and K-1 review for multiple entities.
  • Support estate, gift, and charitable planning, including special family events.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5+ years of tax experience (family office or private client preferred).
  • Strong technical foundation in individual and entity tax compliance.
  • Meticulous, discreet, and comfortable working in a lean, high-performing team.
  • CPA preferred, strong Excel and communication skills required.
