Job Description
Alliance Resource Group has partnered with a publicly held REIT looking to add a tax director to their team. This position is open to growth and is on the fast track to become the VP position within the organization.Â
The Tax director is responsible for:
o Daily management of all tax compliance functions including but not limited to:
o Management of tax tickler and all filing deadlines
o Preparation and scheduling of quarterly estimated tax payments
o Preparation of all federal and state tax returns
o Assist Vice President - Tax with the preparation of the following:
o Quarterly REIT tests
o Quarterly FIN 48 analysis
o Monthly Intercompany Operating Lease calculations
o Quarterly and year-end corporate tax accrual
o REIT taxable income projections
This position will require interaction with:
o Various Associates and departments (primarily Accounting, Finance, Fixed Assets and Financial Reporting)
REQUIRED SKILLS:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Tax;
o 12+ years of tax experience, preferably in the REIT industry;
o Experience dealing with multiple entities preferred;
o Strong analytical and computer skills (high degree of Excel competency required; MAS500, Hyperion and Word a plus);
o Strong written and verbal communication skills;
o Candidate must be self-motivated and detail oriented, with strong problem-solving skills;
0 Exhibit close attention to detail and ability to work well independently;
o Effective use of interpersonal skills, able to work and interact well with others, able to develop and maintain positive working relationships while focusing on customer service; and
0 Must be able to work overtime during peak periods, including some weekends.

Prior to joining Alliance Resource Group, she was an Experienced Hire Recruiter for a large regional Public Accounting firm in Irvine.
As a huge animal advocate, Chloe volunteers her time to rescue dog organizations. She lives by the mantra "Adopt, Don't Shop" and encourages everyone to do the same.
