ARG is exclusively partnered with a high-growth General Contractor in the commercial construction & service industry, with exclusive multi-year contracts to guarantee revenues. Our client is extremely profitable with an amazing culture, however there is now a need to elevate the accounting and finance functions. This person will lead the charge (alongside the CEO and Board Advisors) in:
- restructuring the finance department,
- revamping their pricing model,
- building out metrics and data analytics,
- managing banking relationships,
- revamp job costing process,
- automate accounting processes, and
- create meaningful dashboards, analytics, & KPI's.
- Manage a team of 10 staff, seniors, and managers in accounting and finance.
This position will be both a tactical and strategic partner, with plenty of runway to become CFO.
Impact:
The VP of Finance & Accounting will be responsible for financial reporting, profitability analyses, cash management, GL accounting, inventory, and act as strategic advisor from accounting and finance POV. This will report to the CEO and Board of Directors.

About You:
The position requires a self-driven and highly motivated professional to lead the financial operation. This individual must have a track record of getting things done, a personal style that relies on sound decision making, critical thinking + high EQ, to add value across the organization. The successful candidate will exhibit proven accounting and financial leadership skills. This position will have management and oversight of the day-to-day, weekly, monthly, and annual activities of the finance function for the entire organization.
